A quick guide to the different styles of sofa cover we provide

Ever since we first began here at Cover My Furniture, we’ve always taken care to focus on providing the most expansive range of sofa covers for you to choose from. That way so that no matter what style or atmosphere you prefer for your interiors, we’ll have a replacement fitted cover to suit you. Each individual colour of sofa cover is categorised by a range of distinct styles, which can all have their own unique effect on the look and feel of your interiors. You may be more familiar with some than others, so in case you’re looking for a bit of inspiration, I thought I’d take a moment to give you a quick overview of each style below.

Cotton

Cotton is one of the world’s most universal textiles, so naturally it’s a staple material for our loose covers here at Cover My Furniture. We provide cotton sofa covers in two main styles: Luxury Cotton Weave, and Cotton Diamond.

Our Luxury Cotton Weave is an undisputed all-time classic when it comes to sofa covers and chair covers, and truth be told it’s a personal favourite of mine! It lends itself particularly well to a minimalist aesthetic, but blends in effortlessly to any environment, striking an excellent balance between super simple and super stylish.

Cotton Diamond, on the other hand, enhances the qualities of Luxury Cotton Weave with some extra visual interest in the form of its eponymous subtle diamond pattern, which gives it an extra touch of sophistication. That makes Cotton Diamond a brilliant fit for more modern or contemporary spaces.

Velvet

When you sink down into your sofas after a long tough day, I truly believe there’s nothing better than the beautifully silky, all-encompassing feel of a velvet sofa cover. Our velvet sofa covers come in two styles: Everyday Velvet, and Luxury Velvet.

Everyday Velvet is a highly economical way to give your sofa a touch of opulence both in terms of looks and feel, and there’s a fantastic range of colours to choose from here at Cover My Furniture, ranging from stunningly vibrant shades like Everyday Velvet – Fuchsia to more neutral tones like Everyday Velvet – Aqua.

And if you want the epitome of luxury for your home furniture, or you’re even more of a fan of deeper and darker colours, might we recommend something from our Luxury Velvet range? Shades like Luxury Velvet – Burgundy or Luxury Velvet – Juniper are the ultimate in comfort and style, and we’ve already covered how they’re at the centre of one of the best on-trend styles for 2021.

Aquaclean

Worried about stains and mess on your sofa? Our Aquaclean fabrics are the perfect solution. You can choose your favourites between Aquaclean Textured Plain, or Aquaclean Weave. Both utilise clever in-built technology that enable you to live free from worry about sticky fingers or dirty paw-prints. If you ever find any stains or marks on your sofa, all you need to do is dab them carefully with water, and watch them easily fade from the fabric. This technology beautifully balances convenience, practicality, comfort and style, making all Aquaclean fabrics ideal for busy family homes!

Highland

There’s no denying that Highland fabrics have a very distinctive charm, which is probably what makes them so enduringly popular amongst our customers. Most people tend to think of Highland Checks as having a more traditional appearance that makes them best suited to rural settings, but their neutral tones give them a unique versatility which means they can equally easily blend into more modern or contemporary environments, adding a great bit of extra visual interest to understated surroundings.

Our Highland fabrics are also available in Highland Plaid, which nicely complements our Highland Check and Signature Herringbone designs. If you fancy your furniture with a bit more pizzazz, or you’re considering mixing and matching your furniture covers for a unique look, there’s no better place to start.

Signature

Our Signature styles encompass our Signature Weave, Signature Herringbone and Chunky Weave.

Our beloved Signature Weave is exactly what it sounds like: a timeless plain fabric with a tight knit texture, so it works well in any and all homes. Available in a range of 14 different colours, it’s an exceptionally versatile design that will be right at home in any interior. Our Signature Herringbone, on the other hand, is noted for its subtle textured material that adds a touch of elegance, as its distinctive V shaped weaving pattern makes it a wonderfully tactile surface.

Finally, if you prefer a neutral colourway for your furniture, we think you’ll love our Chunky Weave style of sofa covers. These encompass 14 different colours that are all based on a neutral cloth, woven through with coloured texture, ultimately giving your furniture a charming sense of sophistication at an affordable price!
