Another versatile but bold choice, deep blue sofas give off a luxurious aura, whilst softer, powder blue sofas are a bit more cosy. The rising popularity of green, both in the worlds of fashion and interiors, has been gathering steam since 2021, as trends have generally leaned more towards a natural look. The rise of green interiors has coincided with the fact that more and more people want to bring the natural feel of the outside into their homes. Perhaps this is symptomatic of the amount of time that people had to spend cooped up indoors during the pandemic, when we were all told to stay inside. To the surprise of absolutely nobody here at Cover My Furniture, grey has topped the list as the most sought-after sofa cover colour of 2022 so far. Grey is the most versatile of all the neutral colours, which is likely a big part of why it’s ended topping our list. It allows homeowners to change up the colours of their living room, without fear of the sofa contradicting the overall tone of the room. You can do this by introducing different accessories and wall colours to your living space, and this will come at a much lower cost than replacing large pieces of furniture.
