Don't Have Loose Sofa Covers?

Creating a great-fitting replacement cover isn’t just about knowing the overall size of the furniture. Every sofa has its own shape, proportions, seams, curves, cushion sizes and individual details, and these all affect how the covers fit.

That’s why we create copy covers using your existing covers as the template. Your original covers give us the exact pattern for your furniture, allowing our team to perfectly replicate the shape, construction and details of the covers you already have. This way, you get a new set of bespoke covers designed specifically for your sofa, rather than a generic cover based on a few measurements.

We also ask for four simple measurements as part of the process. These give our team additional information about your furniture and help us double-check everything before your covers go into production.

In most cases, we’ll need your existing loose covers to make your replacement covers. As we create your new covers as a copy of your current ones, having the original covers gives us the best starting point.

However, there is an exception for Multiyork furniture. We have a specialist library of Multiyork furniture patterns, so we may be able to make replacement covers for your sofa or chair even if you don’t have the original loose covers.

Yes. While can make replacement covers for a wide range of sofas and chairs, some styles can be a little more challenging than others. It typically comes down to the way the furniture has been made and whether there is enough space for the new covers to sit neatly and be secured in place.

Some styles that may need a little more consideration include:

• Deep buttoned sofas and chairs, where the buttoning can affect how a cover sits
• Furniture with wooden inlays, which can make fitting covers around the detailing more difficult
• Reclining furniture, where the shape changes as the furniture moves
• Furniture without suitable gaps for securing covers, as the covers need to be held securely in place

Having one of these styles doesn’t automatically mean we won’t be able to help. Every piece of furniture is different, so if you’re unsure, our team can take a look at your particular sofa and let you know what might be possible.
